In 2018, Matt Parker chose Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie law firm to investigate The Exodus Road sexual abuse scandal, but they helped cover up abuse from a Catholic school teacher around the same time, and a New Mexican woman was suing them in 2020 for not protecting her instead of the abuser.

It is clear why Matt Parker chose this law firm to cover up his evil doings.

According to The Open Letter, with 30 co-signers, Matt Parker tried to cover up some sexual abuse, but too many whistleblowers came forward, however most people remained silent about the level of depravity and abuse, as they were also involved and paid very well.  One thing Matt Parker is good at is getting his male volunteers involved in paying for sex in fake investigations in Asia, so they will shut their mouths forever.

“In late 2017 and early 2018, we received one complaint of a hostile work

environment and a separate complaint of inappropriate behavior and a hostile

work environment in our Thailand office. Both complaints were made by

Western adult males operating from our Thailand office. We took immediate

action. We engaged our board of directors and retained an outside law firm,

Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP, to conduct two separate investigations

into each complaint. The firm prepared two reports that were delivered to The

Exodus Road leadership and board. Inappropriate sexual humor and

conversations of a sexual nature in the workplace were found in the first

investigation. The second investigation revealed inappropriate behavior at two

work-related events, one of which included boorish behavior, and the other

which included drunkenness and one individual’s nudity. These events took

place in 2017 in Thailand, and each person present and involved was a

Western adult male. No evidence of sexual abuse was found, but the behavior

was not acceptable and not in line with our organization’s code of ethics.

We promptly implemented the recommendations from the firm that conducted

the investigations,”

Anyone involved with Matt Parker seems to have scandals surrounding them: directors Edwin Desamour having sex with underage girls, Bill Woolfe stealing from Taxpayers, Ted Rudisnof taking backhanders to give TER money from the charity he works for, Matt Parker giving grants to himself in companies he owns.  So we had a quick Google, and we found that the law firm Matt Parker chose to investigate him helped a predatory Catholic school teacher when one of his victims came to them for help.

There should be another investigation into Matt Parker and The Exodus Road after the law firm he hired was proven to protect sexual predators like Matt Parker himself.

Ex-Client Sues Am Law 200 Firm Over Its Catholic Church Representation, Alleging Conflict

A New Mexico woman is suing her former lawyers at Phoenix-based law firm Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie for malpractice related to its representation of her in bringing allegations that she was sexually abused by a Catholic school teacher.

Attorneys for the former client, referred to as “Jane Doe” in the suit to protect her identity, said Lewis Roca attorneys steered her away from filing a civil lawsuit against Rhode Island Catholic institution Portsmouth Abbey School for failing to protect her from a predatory teacher when she was a student from 2012 to 2014. It wasn’t until the middle of 2020 when “Doe” learned that she could have brought a civil case against the school had she done so before turning 21, according to the suit.
